Course structure:

The course is comprised of two parts:

• Part 1: Theory and instruments
• Part 2: Practical Assessment

Part 1 will be taught online July 11-16, 2021, and will include prerecorded sessions, synchronous ZOOM sessions, practice sessions by the participants, and online discussions.

Part 2 is individual and can be spread from July to September 2021. Each participant will use at least 4 of the LPAD instruments to evaluate the learning potential of the child, record the assessment sessions and make recordings available to the Feuerstein Institute coach. The coach will provide individual feedback to each one of the participants by ZOOM. The participants will then write their LPAD reports and send them to the Feuerstein Institute coach. The coach will examine the reports and will provide individual feedback by email to each one of the participants. If necessary the coach will request the revision of the reports and will then examine the final version.

• Study and practice with LPAD instruments:  Organization of Dots, Complex Figure, Raven Matrices: Colored and Standard, Variations B8-B12, Tri-modal analogies, 16 words, Numerical Progressions for Primary School, Organizer for Primary School

Materials: 

Course participants will receive an LPAD for Primary School assessment manual, a set of (reusable) LPAD tasks and recording forms, and an LPAD Diagrams booklet. Materials do not include the Raven Colored or Standard Matrices.

Certification: 

Upon completion of the course and submission of the LPAD reports, graduates will receive a Certificate of LPAD Assessor for Primary School. The certificate is valid for four years from its issue date and is renewed subject to the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) conditions: a. Submittal of 6 LPAD reports, b. Participation in annual lectures using e-learning, including successful completion of a questionnaire about the material presented in the lectures, or participation in annual “live” CPD seminars organized by local Authorized Training Centers, or attendance of additional FIE or LPAD courses.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any courses which fail to meet the minimum participation requirement. Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full.

In cases where the participants cancel, there is a €100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline. There are no refunds for cancellations after May 15, 2021.
