Relational reasoning is the ability to understand relationships between two or more ideas, concepts, or situations and is the basis for logical thought, and problem-solving. These skills are essential for mathematics, computer programming, all sciences, and applied fields such as medicine. Rational reasoning in STEM is challenged at all grade levels. Research shows a correlation between these skills and achievement in STEM subjects.

Prerequisites:

The course is open to university students, educators, and other professionals interested in cognitive strategies in STEM teaching and learning. 

Advanced Reading:

Materials: 

Course participants will receive a set of 4 cognitive instruments Temporal relations, Family relations, Numerical progressions, Transitive relations.

Certification: 

Course participants will be awarded a Certificate of Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment – STEM Mediator for “Relational Reasoning.”

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any courses which fail to meet the minimum participation requirement. Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full.

In cases where the participants cancel, there is a €100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline. There are no refunds for cancellations after the registration deadline.
