Course structure:

The course is comprised of two parts:

  • Part 1: Theory and instruments
  • Part 2: Practical Assessment

Part 1 of the course will include instruction in Feuerstein’s theories and tools. Part 2 is an individual practicum, in which the participants will need to conduct two assessments using the tools and write the accompanying reports. These materials will be submitted to the instructor for evaluation, and feedback. If necessary, the instructor may request the revision of the reports before grading the final submissions.

Course participants will receive an LPAD for Primary School assessment manual, a set of (reusable) LPAD tasks and recording forms, and an LPAD Diagrams booklet. Materials do not include the Raven Colored or Standard Matrices.

Upon completion of the course and submission of the LPAD reports, graduates will receive a Certificate of LPAD Assessor for Primary School. The certificate is valid for four years from its issue date and is renewed subject to the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) conditions: a. Submittal of 6 LPAD reports, b. Participation in annual lectures using e-learning, including successful completion of a questionnaire about the material presented in the lectures, or participation in annual “live” CPD seminars organized by local Authorized Training Centers, or attendance of additional FIE or LPAD courses.
